Early classical training with a tempestuous opera diva laid a foundation of technique - but Paris' musical direction was steered the first time she heard Vince Jones - whom she still cites as an influence.

Paris' sound is reminiscent of a 1940' nightclub singer,with her suave and smooth vocal style reminiscent of an early Julie London. (Sunday Independent music review)
