Shades of Blue

Mark Louis Payne is a well seasoned vocal performer with experience ranging from power pop/punk bands touring the U.K.(1980's), R & B, Soul & blues bands in Australia, More recently his gravelly 'Blues Croon' vocal style can be heard delivering renditions of Torch Blues Ballads most associated with Etta James, Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong.

He is currently performing in two outfits locally. Shades of Blue a two piece outfit of vocal and piano (Jude Russell) offers up a mix of stylish and raw torch material, that comes straight from the heart. A potent cocktail popular with club lounge and bar gigs.

Late Night Radio is a vocal combo of Mark with local chanteuse 'Paris' (The Lost Art of Woo) accentuating a strong focus on some of the greatest songs written, from the Gershwins, Cole Porter, Bossa classics and Blues. Backed up by an impressive line up of versatile pro musicians Late Night Radio are gaining a reputation with an intimate performance based 'show' that will leave you wanting more.
